Isaiah 40:29-31 (MSG)

Have you ever felt like God has lost track of you? Like he has so many kids to keep up with and just doesn’t have time for you?

Well that is just not the case.

God is very aware of what you are currently experiencing and is there to help you and give you strength.

Many times in my life I have realized after the fact that God was in fact speaking to me and trying to prepare me but it was so subtle.

In the noise of this world it’s easy to take the still small moments for granted.

We get world weary and information overload easily in this information/social media age. But if we will take time to get quiet and listen God is there to speak to us and to encourage and strengthen us.

I have found in my own life that fasting helps to tune out the noise of this world. Are you feeling weary and worn out? Take some time this week to listen to your heart.

Isaiah 40: 27-31

Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,
or, whine, Israel, saying,
“God has lost track of me.
He doesn’t care what happens to me”?
Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening?
God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.
He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don’t get tired,
they walk and don’t lag behind.
